Determine your competitiveness for this particular school in terms of GPA and MCAT. More and more allopathic and osteopathic medical schools have being offering this option to pre-med applicants. The application process still involves filling out a complete application- extracurricular activities section, MCAT Score, Transcripts, Letters of Recommendation Personal Statement, Secondaries, and Completing An Interview.

What Happens If I Don’t Get Admitted to My Early Decision Choice?

You may be eligible for the regular decisions cycle for the Early Admission School you applied to, if you receive a deferral as an admission decision. Since application materials have already been verified, this is usually a faster process and still keeps you eligible as a potential applicant for other schools. The early preparation you put into your Early Decision Application allows you to be better prepared to write secondaries and attend interviews in the Regular Decision Cycle.
